I work mainly on Laravel applications and REST APIs. My scope often includes the data model, integrations, containers, CI/CD and the Linux infrastructure used to run them.

I have worked commercially with PHP since around 2021 and with Laravel since June 2022. At ONEXO.pl I handle requirements, architecture, implementation, deployment, security and maintenance for client systems.

  1. Backend systems

    I build Laravel applications and REST APIs, including data models, domain logic, queues and integrations. This is my main area of commercial work.

    I implement authentication, authorization, MFA, rate limiting and exposure controls. I also investigate production incidents across the application, network and infrastructure layers.

    I containerise applications, configure CI/CD pipelines and administer Linux hosts. My commercial work includes Docker, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, K3s, AWS and Cloudflare.

Device provisioning platform

Registering and configuring devices in batches of a few thousand

A hardware manufacturer needed a system for registering and provisioning its devices, in batches of around 2,000–3,000 at a time. For every device the workflow had to create an application record, an identity and a VPN configuration, which setup automation on the device then picked up.

Registration handles batches of that size, and every piece of device state has one system that owns it. I don’t have before-and-after measurements, and my part ended in March 2025, so I can’t say how many devices run on the system today.

A restaurant marketing platform built by a two-person team

zeskanuj.com was a marketing platform for restaurants that used QR codes. I was responsible for the architecture, backend, data model, infrastructure and CI/CD, and for technical oversight of the frontend.

A client’s production service was under a DDoS attack. It sat behind Cloudflare, but the origin server still accepted direct connections from the internet.
